Meals on Wheels People-Ambleside

For more than 50 years, Meals on Wheels People has been meeting the social and nutritional needs of older adults in our community. We serve delicious and nutritious meals at dozen of dining centers in Multnomah, Washington, and Clark counties and volunteers deliver Meals on Wheels and friendly visits to homebound elderly. Several of our centers offer ethnic menus. We depend on more than 1,750 volunteers annually to help us serve and deliver meals.

Ambleside Meals on Wheels People, based in Gresham, serves homebound seniors in Gresham, Fairview, Wood Village, and Corbett. Each week, we distribute over 2000 meals to older adults in these communities.

In addition to our home delivery service, we combat isolation by offering on-site dining from Tuesday to Thursday. This program provides a nutritious lunch and a social space where older adults can connect with their peers.

Ambleside is dedicated to community building, offering a range of programs designed to enrich the lives of seniors and celebrate their cultural communities.
